This is one of the many arguments which stand Sola Scriptura on its head.<br /><br />I like one of the Catholic Answers Hosts who takes the sentence "I did not say he stole the money" ... and depending on how it is read could mean many different things. Each of the following statements mean something different:<br /><br /><b><i>I</i></b> did not say he stole the money.<br />I did not <b><i>say</i></b> he stole the money.<br />I did not say <b><i>he</i></b> stole the money.<br />I did not say he <b><i>stole</i></b> the money.<br />I did not say he stole the <b><i>money</i></b>.<br /><br />How is it possible that we could read this simple phrase and not come up with different answers as to what was being said?Chris (Longmont, CO)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01165770738057751820noreply@blogger.com
